Thank you so much for reading it! Yeah if I ever get the chance to stage it I’m curious how the idea evolves in rehearsal. How much brutality is actually shown rather than suggested. Many of the other plays in the cycle suggest brutality after the blackout, but the audience doesn’t see it, so I was thinking I’d show it one time in the cycle. I’m also curious to know if, in context with the other plays, the audience would be ready for it. The limitation of publishing these on Substack means they are all experienced as “one-offs” rather than part of a whole. I’m hoping the final play reframes the whole cycle.
